In a testament to the future of sustainable mobility, the GO EC team—comprising Yadhu, Unni, and travel vlogger Mr. Yazin—has reached Kathmandu after an extraordinary 2000+ km road trip from Kochi, Kerala, in the all-electric Tata Curvv EV.

Their arrival at the Tata Motors showroom in Thapathali, Kathmandu, was met with enthusiasm and admiration, as the journey highlights not just the vehicle’s capabilities but also the growing viability of long-distance EV travel in South Asia.

The cross-country expedition showcased the Curvv EV’s capability and reliability across diverse geographies—from coastal plains and bustling cities to mountainous roads and international borders—demonstrating the real-world potential of modern electric vehicles.

Speaking on the experience, Mr. Yazin shared his appreciation for Nepal’s evolving EV ecosystem. “We were impressed by how smooth the experience was throughout the trip,” he said. “Nepal’s charging infrastructure is expanding quickly, and that made a big difference. The Curvv EV’s 186mm ground clearance helped us tackle some of the rougher patches along the way, especially in the hilly stretches of Nepal.”

But this journey is about more than just the drive. Along the route, the team has been actively engaging with local communities, youth groups, students, and civic leaders through interactive sessions and meetups. Their goal: to spark meaningful conversations around clean energy, mobility innovation, and the role EVs will play in building a greener, more connected future.

As the team continues their journey beyond Kathmandu, their message is clear: the electric future isn’t just on the horizon—it’s already here.

In the Nepalese market, the Curvv EV is offered with a 55 kWh battery pack in our market, claiming a range of 400-425km, based on Tata’s C75 standard, which closely reflects real-world driving conditions.

The Curvv EV comes equipped with a range of features including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, automatic climate control with an air purifier, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, a 9-speaker JBL-tuned sound system with a 320W subwoofer, a 6-way powered driver’s seat, and ventilated front seats.
